This week, we feature a Northville home-based business called SpaTech Marketing LLC that serves salons and spas near and far. Its owner, Julie Van Ameyde, answers a few questions about it below.

Q: When were you founded?


Q: How did your business come to be? 

I love marketing and operational management and am passionate about the spa and salon business. I know from experience that owners are stretched thin and it is difficult to find someone who totally understands what their day to day life looks like so SpaTech Marketing was created.

Q: Why did you choose Northville? 

I live in Northville and I absolutely love the community, it was a natural fit.

Q: What kinds of services do you offer?

SpaTech Marketing LLC provides consulting to spas, salons, and hospitality facilities at every stage from site selection to post-launch operations including, Planning and Concept Development, Business Management and Operations, Support Marketing and Public Relations.

Q: What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know? 

That I spend a lot of time mentoring and coaching spa and salon owners and just being a sounding board.

Q: What do you want your business to be best known for? 

Happy customers that achieve the desired results needed to keep their businesses flourishing by partnering with us.

Q: What's your most popular product or service?  

Operational and marketing consulting with design consulting a very close second.
