Northville Farmers' Market: Open for the Summer

Vendors from all over the state draw crowds to the Northville Downs parking lot.

Just in time for the warmest day this week, the Northville Farmers' Market kicked off the 2011 season today. It will be held every Thursday from now through October 27. The market is located at the northwest corner of Seven Mile and Sheldon roads in the parking lot across from . 

The market features Michigan grown flowers and vegetables, gardening services like tool sharpening and flower pot recycling (May and June only), and an assortment of Michigan made products.

New this year, senior bus transportation to the farmers' market is being provided by the on the first and third Thursdays of each month.
