Owner Says Garage Grill & Fuel Bar to Open in Downtown Northville This Fall (With Video)

Co-owner Mark Evasic said that the restaurant is also hiring.

A new restaurant with a large banquet facility will be opening its doors in downtown Northville as soon as October, owner Mark Evasic said.

located at the corner of Main and Wing streets, is still under construction. it will be equipped to accommodate up to 70 people in its dining room, another 40 in the bar, 40 outdoors on the patio and up to 80 people for special events in its banquet room, Evasic said.

"The banquet facility makes us a pretty unique opportunity in the city of Northville," managing partner Mike Bageris said.

The restaurant, named for its historic use as a gas station, will offer an American menu. Items like pizza, steaks, seafood, burgers and salads will be served.

"We want to have something for everybody. That's our main motto at this facility," Bageris said.

The restaurant is also hiring servers, bartenders and kitchen help, Evasic said. Interested in a position? Email Bageris at mikeb@garagegrill.net.

Will there be a cool car charging station like the vinsetta garage?

I'm guessing this place won't be opening until West Main street has been reopened. And based on how the Rogers Street construction schedule has been going (seriously, a 6-month project for 0.3 miles of road/watermain work?)...I'm not holding my breath. Ok, end rant.

Menu = Boring typical bar food that at least 4 bars offer within Garage walking distance. Get the same at The Starting Gate probably for lower prices and I bet they will not beat the pizza you get there. Why can't they do something different? What Northville needs is a high end greenmarket like Westborn or Joe's Produce. Randazzo's would be better for price point.

I agree with Colter about the menu - I was hoping for something different .

I would have to disagree about the Starting Gate comment, I find that place, pricey, old, outdated, stale, & drab. I bet the Garage will be a much better atmosphere. The menu is alot like many places around the area, but if done right, could be a real success. I'm looking very forward to checking it out.

Joe, the closed sign was in the window because Chocolates by Renee was closed for the day. The forRead More rent sign was in the window because the space holds more then one business. The other space that the chocolate store does not occupy is available to rent.

Journo101 mistake here. Always verify a closure with the owner or valid source before publishing.Read More Mistakes like this can be incredibly costly for a small business owner. The for rent sign has been there for over a year, same with the closed sign. Spend time in your city everyone, and you'll know whats going on before you see it online!
