How did your business come to be?: Women's Lacrosse is the fastest growing sport in the country. A growing need for off season travel lacrosse team for girls to continue to work and build their lacrosse skills. Several of Michigan's top colleges (UofM, Michigan State, Oakland University, Albion, Adrian, Aquinas, UofD & Grand Valley State to name a few) have recently funded women's lacrosse teams for their varsity program, creating a need for skilled lacrosse players to fill their college rosters. Not to mention local high schools such as Novi High School who's varsity program was created in 2012.  Now is the time to get involved in lacrosse!

What's a fact about your business that most customers probably don't know?: We are able to bring girls into the club at anytime during the year.  And we welcome girls from any community to join us.  Although we host tryouts in the fall we can and do register members throughout the season and encourage girls who are looking for off season lacrosse team to contact us.  We cater to girls who have had a least one year of lacrosse experience at the high school level or equivalent.  Our goal is to provide a welcoming team experience for all girls and provide a place to grow and develop their lacrosse skills as well as life skills that will foster their relationships in other areas of their lives.

What services does your business provide?: Our coaching staff provides top notch girls lacrosse coaching to high school girls, summer weekend travel competition inside and outside of Michigan, weekly practice schedule, physical conditioning, and will feature guests such as sports nutrition expert and strength conditioning coaches.

All our coaching staff are trained and certified through Stacey's School of Lax and the SSOL Coaches hold US Lacrosse Coaching certification in addition to being former college lacrosse players.  We have a certified women's lacrosse official on staff as well as a student dietitian and a student sports trainer.

What's your most popular product or service?: Our coaching staff is the best in Michigan!  Not only does our coaching staff provide expert knowledge they also are a staff of former lacrosse players with big hearts and passion for the sport and our players.

When was the business founded?: September 2012

Why did you choose to locate to Northville?: Northville was chosen because there is no other local off season girls lacrosse travel team in this area and many parents agreed they did not want to or have the time to travel 20 miles or more to get their daughter to practice in the summer and fall months. Our practice's are held at ITC Community Park in Novi. The City of Novi was very open to hosting our team at their park and providing a well lined field and a home location for us. It has been a great partnership and we have recruited girls from Northville, Novi, Plymouth, Canton, Salem and South Lyon to join us.
