5 Things You Should Know Today: Feb. 28

From events to gas prices to the weather, we've gathered a list of information that is important to Northville today.

  1. Northville weather: The forecast shows that on Monday, snow and a freezing drizzle mix is possible after 1 p.m., then gradually ending, according to the National Weather Service. "Some thunder is also possible. Cloudy, with a high near 35," according to the NWS. It is also expected to be breezy, with a north northwest wind between 17 and 20 mph, and some gusts may get as high as 28 mph. In the evening, mostly cloudy skies are expected before becoming gradually clear with a low temperature near 15 degrees, according to the NWS.
  2. The lowest reported gas price in the Northville area, as of Sunday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com, is $3.39 per gallon at the Sunoco station at Five Mile and Haggerty roads.
  3. Co-ed open volleyball is available at the from 10 a.m. for those 50 years and older.
