  1. Northville weather: On Wednesday, expect mostly sunshine, with a high temperature near 73 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. In the evening, there is a 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly after 8 p.m. Mostly cloudy skies are also likely with a low temperature around 58 degrees, according to the NWS.
  2. The lowest reported gasoline price in the Northville area – as of late Tuesday night, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com – is $3.79 per gallon. That price is reported to be available at the Sunoco at Five Mile and Haggerty roads.
  3. The Northville Historical Society and the Girl Scouts will host day two of their annual garage sale today at 218 W. Dunlap. Proceeds benefit both organizations. According to the , "have sold everything from a sailboat to a backyard pond, baby items to antiques, patio furniture, toys, bikes and dishes." The sale will begin at 9 a.m. and last until 9 p.m.
  4. Author Loreen Niewenhuis will talk about the adventures and discoveries of walking around Lake Michigan today at REI on Haggerty Road. The story of her 64-day trek around the lake is chronicled in her book, A 1,000-Mile Walk On the Beach. The author lecture is free and begins at 7 p.m.
