  1. Northville weather: The National Weather Service forecasts partly sunny skies today, with a high temperature near 30 degrees. The wind chill will get as low as zero. In the evening, there is "a slight chance of snow, freezing rain, and sleet before midnight, then rain or freezing rain likely," according to the NWS. Little or no ice and snow accumulation are likely. Otherwise, mostly cloudy skies are expected with a high temperature around 30 degrees by 5 a.m. Friday. 
  2. The lowest reported gas price in the Northville area, as of early Thursday morning  is $3.39 per gallon, according to Detroitgasprices.com via GasBuddy.com,. That price is available at the Sunoco station at Five Mile and Haggerty roads.
  3. The American Red Cross will be holding Nurse Assistant, Home Health Aide and Patient Care Tech training throughout the area including a class in Livonia. 
  4. Northville Public Schools Early Childhood Education and Extended Day Programs will hold a at 6:30 p.m. the .
  5. There's interesting news in surrounding Patches everyday too. Today, the Plymouth Patch has an interesting  about plans approved by the city's historic district commission for a vacant gas property on Main Street and Ann Arbor Trail.
