5 Things You Should Know Today: March 4

From events to gas prices to the weather, we've gathered a list of information that is important to Northville today.

  1. Northville weather: A freezing rain mix is possible early Friday morning, becoming all rain after 10 a.m. with a high temperature near 44 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. "Little or no ice accumulation expected," according to the NWS. In the evening, more rain is expected with a low around 38 degrees.
  2. The lowest reported gas price in the Northville area, as of late Thursday night is $3.49 per gallon, according to  Detroitgasprices.com via GasBuddy.com. That price is available at the Sunoco on Five Mile and Haggerty roads.
  3. The will be welcoming a new exhibit: Beyond the Blueprint: Architects' Other Art. The show runs through March 26.
  4. Downtown Northville's many will be open late for the First Friday Experience. Many of the galleries will have hors d' oeuvres and beverages for its visitors throughout the night.
