On this day in 1532, according to History.com, Spanish explorer and conquistador Francisco Pizarro sets a trap for the Incan emperor, Atahualpa. Piazzaro invited Atahualpa to a feast in his honor, then opens fire on the unarmed Incans, massacring them.
