From events to gas prices to the weather, we've got info important to Northville today.

  1. Northville weather: Rain is expected throughout today. The high temperature is expected to be near 55 degrees, according to the National Weather Service. It's expected to be breezy, with some wind gusts getting as high as 28 mph. And the NWS forecasts more rain in the evening with a low temperature around 46 degrees.
  2. The lowest reported gasoline price in the Northville area – as of Wednesday morning, according to DetroitGasPrices.com via GasBuddy.com – is $3.39 per gallon. That price is reported to be available at the Sunoco station at Five Mile and Haggerty roads.
  3. The Michigan Humane Society's Terri Mallett will host a discussion at the called Are Pets Like People? The Animal Behavior Specialist will discuss how the belief that pets have human characteristics affects our relationships with them. begins at 7 p.m.
  4. The Northville Chamber of Commerce will host its Annual Meeting and Citizen of the Year program today at 5:30 p.m. will be held in Plymouth at the Inn at St. John's.
