Flood Warning in Effect for Rouge, Lower Rouge Areas

The National Weather Service cautions that heavy rainfall and melting snow may cause flooding around the area.

Forty-something degree weather may be a nice change from temperatures in the teens, but it's also causing snow to melt rapidly.

That, coupled with heavy rainfall over a short period of time on Friday and Saturday, has prompted the National Weather Service to issue a flood warning "from now until further notice," according to the weather service.

The warning predicts the chance of dense fog through Saturday morning.
