Memorial Day Parade Draws Hundreds to Downtown Northville

In honor of fallen soldiers, a handful of groups took to the streets to march in a parade.

In honor of those who have died serving our country, the Post 4012 held its annual Memorial Day parade today in the downtown area.

The marching band, several local cub scout troops and others marched in the parade. Also on hand were Northville Mayor Christopher Johnson, city council members Michele Fecht and Nancy Darga as well as State Rep. Kurt Heise (R-Plymouth) and state senator Patrick Colbeck (R-Canton.)

The parade, which went by in about 15 minutes, drew hundreds along its route.
