The Weather Outside is Frightful, But the News Goes On

Though Northville remains under a winter storm warning until 11 p.m. Sunday, the snow makes for beautiful photos. Here's a weather update and some of our pics.

The National Weather Service's winter storm warning will expire at 11 p.m. Sunday for areas around Detroit, including Northville.

Snow-covered roads and areas of zero visibility are expected to continue until then. Wind gusts will be between 30 and 40 miles per hour and are likely to continue into Monday, according to the NWS. This will cause wind chills to fall below zero Sunday night through Monday night.

Snow fell pretty much nonstop throughout Sunday. Snow accumulation is expected to total 4 to 8 inches.

But the news goes on.

Patch had reporters out and about on Sunday, covering events at Mill Race Village, Genitti's and elsewhere in Northville. These stories will be posted Monday morning.
