Weekend Countdown: Holiday Parade

Get through Monday by planning for the fun that waits ahead.

It's getting closer to the holidays, with Thanksgiving next week, and naturally it's beginning to look, and sound — and hopefully, feel — a lot like Christmas (or whatever holiday you observe).

Today we begin our weekend countdown with a touch of spectacle:

Holiday Lighted Parade

  • Where: Along Main Street, near the
  • When: 6:30 p.m. Friday
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: The Northville Chamber of Commerce hosts the annual Holiday Lighted Parade, with this year's theme being "Holidays Around the World." Wave hello to Santa and enjoy the lights, pageantry, bands, floats, free treats and more. Plus, kids will get a little time with old Saint Nick to share their wish lists after the parade. Refreshments will also be served in Town Square.

Check back tomorrow for another weekend thing-to-do. Or, visit our Events page for a wealth of ideas.
