  • Why Go: This reception kicks off a weeks-long all-media juried show from the Ann Arbor Women Artists (and a Few Good Men) organization.

Tipping Point Presents Fiction

  • Where:
  • When: 8 p.m. Thursday and Friday, 3 p.m. Saturday and 2 p.m. Sunday
  • Pricing: $26-$30
  • Why Go: The Tipping Point presents Fiction, a provocative drama focusing on a married pair of writers. The wife learns she has cancer and only weeks to live, so the couple share the contents of their diaries, with shocking results.

  • Where: The streets of downtown Northville
  • When: 6-9 p.m. Friday
  • Pricing: Free
  • Why Go: It's the first Friday so that means it's the perfect time to head downtown for art, appetizers, special demonstrations and more as Northville shops open up for the First Friday Experience.

Alice in Wonderland at the Marquis

  • Where:
  • When: 2:30 p.m. Friday
  • Pricing: $8.50 per person
  • Why Go: The Marquis Theatre takes audiences through the looking glass, as it presents a live-action musical version of Alice in Wonderland.

  • Where:
  • When: Sunday, 10 a.m.
  • Pricing: Prices vary, $14-$28
  • Why Go: This event will feature a buffet and activities including a children’s coloring station, as well as photo opportunities with the Easter Bunny. Families can also participate in a “Jelly Bean Count Contest."
