The Gryphon Trio & Patricia O'Callaghan at the Jazz Café, Chamber Music Society of Detroit, inDepth Series

On Friday, April 5 at 7:00 PM, The Chamber Music Society of Detroit presents The Gryphon Trio with vocalist Patricia O’Callaghan — whom Billboard called “the most promising cabaret performer of her generation” — perform music from their extraordinary ground-breaking album, Broken Hearts & Madmen.  Global in spirit and genre-stretching in style, the album mixes Latin songs with jazz-tinged tunes by some of pop’s most revered composers, including Nick Drake, Laurie Anderson, Leonard Cohen, Los Lobos, Lhasa, Elvis Costello and Astor Piazzolla.


Music Hall's intimate Jazz Cafe features a cash bar and a menu of small plates.


This concert takes place at The Jazz Café is located inside the Music Hall for the Performing Arts building at 350 Madison Avenue, Detroit.  Music Hall is next to the Detroit Opera House and across from the Gem Theatre on Madison and Brush, two blocks from Greektown.
