See for yourself, a faraway kingdom turned upside down. Things get ugly when an unseemly ogre shows up to rescue a feisty princess. Throw in a donkey who talks non stop, a bad guy with a "short" temper and over a dozen goofy fairy tale characters and you have the kind of mess that calls for a real hero. Luckily, there's one on hand...his name is SHREK. Based on the book by William Steig and the DreamWorks Animation Motion Picture, this musical is part romance, crazy fairy tale and great fun for everyone!
Performed by a cast ranging in ages 6 to 20 from Forever After Productions (FAP), based in Canton, MI. FAP provides quality performing arts education and family-friendly entertainment for families of southeast Michigan. Through the performing arts, FAP aims to foster creativity, responsibility and confidence in its participants and create a supportive community where families can learn and grow together.
