Northville Civic Concern Requests Cookie Donations

The annual Christmas party for its clients is Saturday.

The Northville Civic Concern is a staple in the community as a nonprofit food bank serving over 170 Northville households, many with school-age children. 

The Civic Concern is requesting donations for its annual Christmas Party for its clients on Saturday.

"We are still in need of freshly baked or purchased cookies for this event. We would like to give each client a package of assorted cookies to take home with them," read an email from the Civic Concern.

Cookies should be brought to the Northville Civic Concern office on Wednesday or Friday between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. Call (248) 344-1033 or email mmzonca@sbcglobal.net for more information.

Other ways to give to the Civic Concern

The “Simply Give” program at Northville's Meijer, Eight Mile and Haggerty roads, continues to Jan. 1. The purchase of a $10 donation card at each register directly benefits the organization.

Northville Civic Concern will be providing complimentary gift wrapping of any Barnes and Noble purchases, at Six Mile and Haggerty roads, on Dec. 14 and 21. They will also be accepting cash and food donations on these days.
