Northville Civic Concern Thanks You for a Great 2013

The local food bank says donations to Meijer's "Simply Give Program" were outstanding.

In this letter to the community, the Northville Civic Concern thanks everyone who donated to support the food bank in 2013:

Northville Civic Concern would like to thank the Northville students, their families and the entire Northville community for their generosity and support during 2013.  Schools, churches, organizations and businesses held Food Drives to benefit us.  Various school and youth groups worked on special projects.  The donations to Meijer’s (8 Mile and Haggerty) Simply Give Program benefitting our group were outstanding.

Please consider helping Northville Civic Concern every time you do your grocery shopping.   In order to keep our doors open, and our Food Pantry functioning, we need the help of the whole community.  Would you purchase extra items of food each week and donate them to us?   Our continuing needs include canned fruit, macaroni and cheese, canned meat products and breakfast cereal.  Paper towel, toilet paper, and tissues are also needed.  We also accept donations of gift cards and cash.  In addition, our job searching clients need gas cards so they can go to interviews and training programs.
