A Northville man was on his way home from Chicago when he became trapped in the massive pileup on I-94 last week near Michigan City, Ind., WXYZ Channel 7 News reported.

Brad Mamo saw a mother with a small child in the back seat of a car, pinned underneath a semi-truck, according to WXYZ. He got the baby out and brought her and the mother to his truck to wait out the storm until the highway reopened.
