If you see someone who is homeless or anyone in distress out in the cold today or Tuesday, Community EMS ambulance service can help.

Call 800-343-4427, and dispatchers will send out a Community EMS ambulance or rehab unit, said Greg Beauchemin, the company's president and CEO. The rehab unit can provide medical care, aid and comfort–including blankets, jackets, coffee, warmth and escape from the elements–to homeless people throughout metro Detroit.

Community EMS is part of Farmington Hills-based Botsford Health Care.
