Holiday Lighted Parade Wrap-Up: Chamber Extends Thanks for Night's Success

The 2013 Holiday Lighted Parade kicked off the holiday season in Northville Friday night. See the posts above for a recap of the evening's festivities.
There were 47 total entries in the parade and 23 floats and vehicles. The contest winners were:
- Best Parade Theme: Destiny Worship Center - Miracle on Main, live nativity
- Best Holiday Spirit: Preservation Dental – Rudolph and 8 Reindeer (VW Beetles)
- Mayor’s Choice: Performer’s Edge Dance Studio – Rockette Dancers
The Chamber of Commerce, which organized the event, would like to thank the following groups and individuals for a successful evening:

- Tina Genitti - emcee of Town Square sing along, tree lighting and parade hostess
- Michele Fecht - Citizen of the Year
- City of Northville DPW - illumination and solid waste engineers
- City of Northville Police Department and the public safety companions - parade marshals
- City of Northville DDA - decorations of downtown and Santa House
- Area churches that provided the parade banner, Town Square refreshments and sound system: Destiny Worship Center, First Baptist Church of Northville, First Church of the Nazarene, Northville Christian Assembly, OakPointe Church and Ward Church
- Tom Holzer Ford - parade sponsor and Santa vehicle
