Meads Mill Middle School’s principal, Dr. Sue Meyer declares, “Student participation in Science Olympiad has given our students the opportunity to work together as they develop their critical thinking skills, creativity, discipline and leadership.  The students not only propose solutions, they apply their theories, testing them and learning to adjust their thinking.  At the national competition, the students have the opportunity to meet students from all over the country, as well as see how many different ways one can approach the same challenge.  This is an important skill they will take into their futures.”
