Northville Cub Scouts and the American Flag

Earlier this month members of the American Legion and American Legion Auxiliary hosted the Cub Scout pack of Northville.  The Legion members provided the Cubs an overview of American Flag Etiquette - yes, there is such a thing.  The Cub Scouts were shown the correct way to handle and fold the American flag.  The American flag is folded 13 times and each fold has a symbolic meaning.  The Cubs enjoyed their time at the Legion, the members enjoyed their time with the Cubs, and the Legion Post appreciates the opportunity to work with these young members of our community.  Thanks to Northville Silver Springs Elementary School - Cub Scouts Pack 712, Wolf Den 3.
