15th Annual Holiday Home Tour!

Holiday Home Tour 2013

Do you hear those sleigh bells in the distance?  That's because the Holidays are just around the corner!  It won't be long now before the tree is up, the stockings are on the mantle and the house is cozy and bright.  Looking for new ideas this year?  Visit the Northville Community Foundation's Holiday Home Tour, sponsored by Toll Brothers, Friday and Saturday, November 15 and 16, from 10a.m. to 4p.m. each day.

Once again five gorgeous homes have been selected to be decorated for the Holidays.  The style of each home is different and there is something for every taste.  This year's Tour is an exceptional blend of traditional, contemporary, earthy, cozy and even a modern condo.  Each home is beautiful on its own but with our talented team of decorators the homes come to life with ideas on top of ideas for decorating your home for the Holidays.

Looking for a unique way to decorate the tree?  What about a new take on the table setting?  You'll find it all at the Holiday Home Tour!  With homes ranging from a stylish new build to a 15 year old traditional home this year's tour has got it all.  One outstanding home is just loaded with custom features.  From a "man cave" on the main floor to the elegant kitchen and newly renovated lower level, this home is just spectacular and one you will not want to miss!

Another home you won't want to miss: a Downtown Northville home that has been modeled after a Queen Ann Farmhouse and is both casual and chic.  This home is so quaint and inviting you will want to stay all day.  Add the Christmas decor and the THREE Christmas trees and you just might want to move in!

Looking for some unique ideas for your home?  The homes on this year's Holiday Home Tour have an abundance of them!  One home includes a custom wine cellar and a London inspired room complete with an English "phone box", another boasts a Scotland inspired den and chic custom wallpaper, and yet another has beautifully designed stonework throughout.   Add holiday decorations to these homes and the 'WOW' factor is off the charts!

This year, in addition to five fabulous homes, a BONUS home has been added to the Tour.  This new build in Downtown Northville is less than six months old and is very upscale and sophisticated.  Every detail in this home has been thought out from the open concept main floor with the custom stone wall to the elegant dining room to the children's bedrooms that match their interests and are just too cute.  This home is absolutely gorgeous and the Christmas decor just makes it that much more stunning.

Proceeds from the Holiday Home Tour help fund the Northville Community Foundation's Senior Holiday Baskets program which provides gift baskets to senior citizens in assisted living facilities as well as their scholarship program for high school seniors.

Tickets for the 2013 Holiday Home Tour are just $20 in advance and $25 at the door.  Tickets are limited and the event does sell out each year.  To purchase tickets visit Gardenviews or the Chamber of Commerce.  Both are on Main St. in Downtown Northville.  If you prefer to charge your tickets, please call the Northville Community Foundation at (248) 374-0200.  To purchase tickets the day-of, visit Ward Church at 40000 Six Mile Road, 1/4 mile west of Haggerty Road.  Tickets may be purchased at the Church on the 15th and 16th from 9a.m. to 2:30p.m..
