10 People Cited for Trespassing at Northville Psychiatric Hospital

Northville Township police provided this information.

Trespassing onto the former Northville psychiatric hospital property, 41001 Seven Mile Road, is common throughout the year and especially popular around Halloween.

Northville Township police cited 10 people for trespassing on the abandoned property between Oct. 25 and 27, according to a police report.

Police found and cited these four people, the report said, inside the main hospital building Oct. 25:

  • a 17-year-old White Lake Township woman
  • a 17-year-old Fenton Township man
  • a 17-year-old White Lake woman
  • a 19-year-old Fenton man

Police also cited three Livonia women, all 18 years old, Oct. 26 for trespassing after seeing them drive onto the property, the report said.

Police found and cited these three men — one who had a hat with LED lights — Oct. 27 after finding them walking near the former hospital’s maintenance building, the report said:

  • a 17-year-old Livonia man
  • a 20-year-old Dearborn Heights man
  • an 18-year-old Livonia man

All of those cited have scheduled hearings at 35th District Court.
