Catalytic Converter Stolen from Northville Woman's Car

Northville Township police provided this information.

Someone stole a catalytic converter from a Northville woman’s car, according to a Northville Township police report.

The woman said that between 5:30 a.m. Dec. 30 and 6:45 p.m. Jan. 3, someone cut the catalytic converter from her car, which was parked outside of her home on the 18000 block of Innsbrook Drive, the report said.

The woman said she started her vehicle Jan. 3 and noticed that the exhaust volume was louder than normal. She took it in for servicing at Novi Motive and was told that the catalytic converter was cut, according to the report.
