Northville Township Police: 7 Mile Property Trespassers Cited, Meijer Shoplifter Arrested

Accused trespassers arrested
Two 32-year-old men from Chicago were cited on Aug. 10 after a township officer spotted them on the Seven Mile property, the former state psychiatric hospital, according to Northville Township police reports.
The two told police they were there to take photographs. They are due to appear in the 35th District Court later this month.
Shoplifter arrested
A 44-year-old Detroit woman was cited for shoplifting and arrested on Aug. 8 after store security told police she was seen stealing from Meijer, according to township police reports.

The woman was seen putting groceries and baby items into grocery bags, according to the report. She then took bottle slips to a cash register and attempted to leave the store.
She is due to appear in the 35th District Court later this month.
