Crime Report: Accused Northville Meijer Shoplifter Caught, Wiring Cut From Home's Basement

The following information was supplied by Northville Township's Public Safety Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Accused shoplifter arrested

A 20-year-old Canton woman was arrested on August 4 after Northville Township police arrested her on shoplifting charges.

According to police reports, the woman was seen by store security stealing two tequila bottles. Police caught up with her in the parking lot and she was arrested.

She paid a $300 cash bond and was released, according to the police report.

Wiring stolen from basement

About 200 feet of gauge wiring was reported stolen from the basement of a house on the 48000 block of Freestone Drive, according to township police reports. It went missing sometime before the afternoon of August 6.
