Crime Report: Baby Jesus Figurine Reported Stolen from Nativity Display

The following information was supplied by the city of Northville's Police Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Baby Jesus and camel figurines reported stolen

A resident on the 46000 block of Elmsmere Drive reported to city of Northville police that figurines from the home's nativity display had been stolen.

According to police reports, first the camel figurine went missing. On Dec. 23, the baby Jesus figurine was also reported stolen.

Man throws rock through window

After being kicked out of a party on Dec. 24 the 300 block of Griswold Street, a man threw a rock through the home's window, according to city police reports.

A party-goer saw the man and tried to run after him, but could not catch him.

Alcohol reported stolen from car's trunk

A Plymouth woman reported to city police that someone stole alcohol from her trunk on Dec. 23.

According to police reports: she bought several types of alcohol and left it in her trunk while she went to work in downtown Northville. She noticed at home that some of the items went missing, including two cases of beer and two bottles of liquor.

Police examined the car but could find no signs of damage or tampering.
