Graffiti Found Around Downtown Northville

The following information was supplied by the City of Northville Police Department and Northville Township's Public Safety Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Graffiti spotted around downtown

Sometime between Aug. 17 and Aug. 20, 15 different pieces of graffiti were placed around Northville, according to city police reports.

They ranged from pictures of the Kool-Aid logo, a snake and letters. They were found on business walls, signs and lampposts.

Retail fraud reported

A 26-year-old Northville man was arrested on Aug. 25 after Kroger store security said he attempted to steal $55 in merchandise.

According to township police reports, the man was seen walking past the self checkout with two 12-packs of Redbull and three packs of bacon.

He was cited for larceny and is due to appear in the 35th District Court in September.
