Northville Township Woman Reports Damage to Vehicle

The following information was provided by the Northville Township Police Department. Arrests do not indicate convictions.

took a report Aug. 15 of damage to a vehicle, according to a police report.

The vehicle owner told police she parked her 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee at about 6 p.m. on Aug. 14 and returned about 12 hours later to see her front passenger window had been broken out and the dashboard surrounding her built-in GPS navigation unit had been pried open. According to the report, the GPS unit was still intact, but had scratches.

Police have no suspects.

Man faces charges of driving with an expired license

Northville Township Police stopped a 1996 Ford Mustang Aug. 16 at 7 Mile and Northville roads after a random check of the vehicle revealed the owner had an expired license, according to a police report.

The driver told police he was aware of the expired license. Police cited the man on charges of driving with an expired license and was released without incident. He faces a Sept. 5 court date at in Plymouth.
