Crime Report: SUV Window Broken, Northville Street Signs Reported Stolen

The following information was supplied by Northville Township's Public Safety Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

SUV window broken

The back window of an SUV, parked near a home on the 18000 block of Jamestown Circle, was broken, according to township police reports.

At around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 11, a resident reported to police that he went into his home for a nap. When his mother came home, she found the broken window. Upon inspection, the resident found two rocks near the SUV, which may have been used to break the window, according to the police report.

The man also told police that he did not hear anything and that he talked to neighbors who also did not see or hear anything.

Bicycle found

There was a bicycle found on Oct. 11 on the 15000 block of Mystic Circle in Northville Township, according to police reports.

It was found under a tree, retrieved and turned over to township police.

The owner can call dispatch, and ask for Officer Fisher, at 248-349-9400 to claim the bike.

Street signs reported stolen

Street signs were reported stolen from the Woods of Northville subdivision on Oct. 13.

According to police reports, two “No Parking” signs and a stop sign for a walking path were taken. A representative for the subdivision’s board told police that she did not know if they were placed there by the county but would seek to get them re-posted.
