Crime Stoppers Offers Cash Reward in Northville Hit and Run

Police are searching for the person who hit a 52-year-old man.

A pedestrian was struck around 5:50 p.m. Nov. 22 by a car in Northville Township.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $2,500 for information on the case. 

The 52-year-old Detroit man sustained non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital, according to Northville Township police. He was assisting another employee who was backing a vehicle and trailer out of a driveway toward Six Mile Road, according to Northville Township police. The man was in the road when he was struck by an eastbound vehicle on Six Mile Road, east of Sheldon Road. The driver did not stop after the accident and fled the scene, police said.

The suspect's vehicle is described as a white or silver sedan similar to a Chrysler 200 or a Volkswagen Passat, police said.
