Robert Louis Messer, 37, of Northville, was charged with sex crimes in connection to the disappearance of a Plymouth Township teenager in October.

His final conference is scheduled for Tuesday and his jury trial is scheduled for March 24 before Third Circuit Court Judge Edward Ewell, Jr., according to the Wayne County Prosecutor's Office.

At a preliminary examination in November at 35th District Court, the 15-year-old girl testified to having a suicide pact with Messer and said she believed she was in a relationship with him.

Messer, who has known the family for about 10 years, faces one count of Criminal Sexual Conduct First Degree, three counts of Criminal Sexual Conduct Third Degree and one count of Accosting a Minor for Immoral Purposes.
