Northville Man's iPad Stolen from Tim Hortons

The following information was supplied by the Northville Township Police Department.

A Northville man’s iPad was stolen from his vehicle between 5 to 5:30 p.m. April 25 at Tim Hortons, 17899 Haggerty Road, according to a Northville Township police report.

The man said he parked his vehicle on the north side of Tim Hortons where he was with his granddaughter, the report said. He said he thought he locked the vehicle, according to the report, but he may have gotten distracted.

He said he thought he left his iPad on the front seat floor of the vehicle, the report said. Upon arriving home, he found it to be missing and did not see it in his home or vehicle, according to the report.

The man is concerned someone could obtain his personal information from the iPad, the report said. He contacted Apple, which will track his iPad and notify him if it is turned on, according to the report.

Tim Hortons' surveillance system does not have a view of the parking lot, the report said, and no one has returned the iPad there.
