Northville Man Says Someone Stole His Beer

The following information was supplied by the Northville Police Department.

A Northville man reported that 12 cans of beer were stolen from his garage on Nov. 25, according to a Northville Police Department crime report.

The man, who lives on First Street, has an open carport that is attached to the north side of his house. The carport is open on three sides but in a fenced-in area. He told police he removed 12 cans of beer from a case in a cabinet in the garage and took the beers with him to hockey, the report said. The man left the half-full case behind on a table near the cabinet.

When the man returned home, he noticed the gate to the carport was open and the remaining beers were gone, the report said. He also noticed the cabinet doors were open as if someone had gone through it, the report said.
