Northville resident and special education student Joseph Miklos, 19, was found competent to stand trial by a 35th District Court on Tuesday, according to an article in the Observer & Eccentric.
Miklos is accused of inviting an 11-year-old boy to his house where he "engaged in unwanted sexual contact," according to city of Northville police. He is charged with second degree criminal sexual conduct.
According to the article in the Observer & Eccentric, Miklos' case has been sent to the Oakland County Circuit Court for trial unless a plea bargain is reached before then. A trial date has not yet been set.
Part of Miklos' bond includes wearing a GPS tracking tether and not having contact with any minors.
According to the Observer & Eccentric, Miklos is now a home-bound student with Northville Public Schools.
