Northville Township Man Accused of Being Bad Neighbor, Cited Twice For Noise Violations

The following information was supplied by the Northville Township's Public Safety Department. It does not indicate a conviction.

Township man cited for noise ordinance violations

A 30-year-old Northville Township man was cited for a noise violation in the early morning hours of Oct. 6. Police returned later in the day and issued a second violation following numerous neighbor complaints, according to township police reports.

When police responded to calls about a loud party on the 19000 block of Scenic Harbour Drive at about 5 a.m., there were people in the driveway around a large fire.

According to the report, the resident told his guests to move inside. When a police officer told him he wanted to talk to him, the man refused and did not come back out to speak with the officer. He told the officer to write him a ticket. The officer waited to issue his citation for violating the noise ordinance and for leaving the large fire unattended.
