Northville Township Man's Property Stolen, Ditched

A Northville Township man’s property was stolen from his silver 2012 Ford Fusion 1:03 a.m. Dec. 28 near the 16000 block of Meade Road, according to a Northville Township police report.

Another man found a leather bag containing a laptop on the edge of the road where he was placing his garbage, the report said. That man contacted police, who found a passport for the laptop’s owner, according to the report.

The laptop owner said it had been inside his vehicle parked on the edge of the road in front of his home, the report said. The officer checked the vehicle and found that the center console was open and items were moved inside the vehicle, the report said.

No other items appeared missing and there was no damage to the vehicle, according to the report.
