Police Arrest Woman on Charges of Stealing from Kohl's

Northville Township police provided this information.

Northville Township police arrested a 24-year-old Redford woman Nov. 27 on charges of stealing from Kohl’s, according to a police report.

Loss prevention officers at the store, 20155 Haggerty Road, saw the woman removing clothing from hangers and concealing them in a Target bag in her shopping cart, the report said. 

The woman attempted to steal 32 items of clothing valued at $758, the report said. She left through the front doors without paying for the merchandise, according to the report.

The officer arrested her on charges of retail fraud. She has a hearing Dec. 18 at 35th District Court, the report said.
