Northville Police Release Photo of SUV Possibly Involved in Deadly Hit and Run

The photo shows a dark-colored SUV at 1:14 a.m. on Saturday in downtown Northville.

On Tuesday, the city of Northville's police department released a surveillance camera photo of an SUV suspected of being involved in on Dec. 3.

The picture is time-stamped at 1:14 a.m. Twenty-five-year-old Josh Green had been out in Northville with friends – Green, walking in the street, and his friends on the sidewalk.

Then, according to an account from his friend to WXYZ-TV, the West Bloomfield man was hit by a dark-colored SUV that didn't stop. Green later died at Botsford Hospital in Farmington Hills from his injuries.

Northville city police say the vehicle that struck Green is possibly a Honda CRV.

Police chief Gary Goss previously told Northville Patch that the department is hoping that the driver surrenders themselves to police or that an alert citizen spots the vehicle.

The SUV would have damage to the passenger side headlight and passenger outside mirror, Goss said.
