Someone stole a tractor from the Bushwood Golf Club between Dec. 12 and 13, according to a Northville Township police report.
The owner of the golf club, 39430 Dun Rovin Drive in Northville Township, said that the John Deere tractor was stored in a fenced area behind the club, the report said. The officer saw that the fence had been torn away to allow the tractor to be driven from the area, according to the report.
The owner said he had only two sets of keys for the tractor and both were not taken, the report said. However, he said John Deere tractors often have universal keys, according to the report.
Tire tracks led from where the tractor was parked to a parking lot where they abruptly ceased, the report said. There is video surveillance and the officer was told that the footage would be examined and turned over to police if it showed the incident, according to the report.
