The city council voted Monday night to approve $28,825 for sidewalk repairs.

Sidewalk repairs will be made to streets around the city of Northville this summer.

The Northville city council approved $28,825 in repairs Monday night, which will be taken partly from city millage funds and from Downtown Development Authority (DDA) monies.

"The selected locations have been based on concerns raised by residents throughout the past year, as well as replacements based on inspections made by staff," city Public Works director Jim Gallogly said in his proposal to the city council.
