Rep. Heise to Host Interactive Town Hall With Gov. Snyder Tuesday in Northville

The town hall will be held at the Northville Township Hall and virtually online.

On Tuesday, Rep. Kurt Heise (R-Plymouth) is sponsoring an interactive town hall for his constituents to speak with Republican Gov. Rick Snyder.

"This is not the first town hall the Governor has done in this format," said Mike Marzano, Deputy Manager of Constituent Services Governor’s office. "It is the first one with multiple locations."

The governor, who will be taking questions from Lansing, will be connecting with folks in Northville, Lansing and Grand Rapids among other towns using the online Google+ Hangout. Participants will be able to see him and vice versa.

From 6:30-7:30 p.m., Snyder will answer questions on any topic from the communities, he said. Local residents can attend the town hall at the located at Six Mile and Sheldon roads.

"New technology makes it easier for us to connect with people across the state including the governor and I'm pleased that residents of the 20th District will get to ask him questions," said Heise in a press release. "I encourage local residents to come out and join us for this digital town hall meeting. This is a great opportunity for constituents to have their opinions heard and questions answered."
