VIDEO: Colbeck, Heise Address Wayne Republican Group About Upcoming Legislation
The legislative update is part of a grassroots effort to educate citizens about bills in Lansing straight from state legislators, organizers say.
State Sen. Patrick Colbeck (R-Canton) and Rep. Kurt Heise (R-Plymouth) addressed about 50 of their constituents Monday night during the Wayne 11th Congressional District Republican Committee's legislative update.
The event, held at the , was an opportunity for voters to talk to their elected representatives about legislation in Lansing, said chairman Joe Xuereb of Northville.
