Your parents' plaque had it right. So the next article like this on The Patch will say "11 HOUSES that sold in Ferndale," right? ;-)

Ferndale Resident - You're welcome. And, I definitely understand what you mean. Patrick - We could try that :-) Well, maybe unless there are condos etc. on the list? We do the same for House Hunt.. I think the story says we'll feature "one home or a series of homes each week," and we have included the Lofts on Nine etc. There's always the term "properties." Maybe I'm overthinking it now ;-) I'll for sure be more mindful of the terms!

On a recent one of these posts, my home was mentioned on it, and I was pleased. A home or a house, it really has the same designation. It is a residence, but home just sounds better most times.

I am hoping my "house" will be on here next year. I have had nothing but horrible experiences in ferndale the last two years. I have fixed up my tiny bungalow real cute in hopes it sells next summer. Unfortunately this house will never be a home due to the drug raid nearby and the taft crime. But, I digress. To some Ferndale may be nice, to me it has been a nightmare. Sorry I just ranted, but nothing has been done and I dont feel safe.

In general, Ferndale is a nice place. But being a roughly 2 mile by 2 mile city, unfortunately some areas will be affected by nearby communities and what ails them. :-(
