Northville Public Schools is offering parents a free opportunity to learn how to have conversations with kids on drugs and substance abuse.

The Drugs 101 program will be 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22 at Hillside Middle School. The event was postponed from its Jan. 8 date because of the poor weather conditions.

Parents will also learn about current trends in substance abuse, how to further educate themselves and what warning signs to look for in the home.

The Northville Youth Assistance and the Northville Council of PTAs are providing this program to parents free of charge. Those interested in attending, must register online at http://www.stjoeshealth.org/classes
