Interim Principal Selected for Northville Elementary School
Ray Balutowicz, assistant principal at Meads Mill Middle School, was selected for the post at Thornton Creek Elementary School.
Ray Balutowicz, assistant principal at Meads Mill, was selected as Interim Principal for , according to an email from current principal Sharon Irvine.
It was announced two weeks ago that Irvine as the Ypsilanti school district's director of human resources. Her last day is Sept. 16.
"Mr. B, as he has affectionately introduced himself to our students, comes from over 30 years of experience as the Assistant Principal at Meads Mill and upper elementary teacher at Amerman and Silver Springs," Irvine wrote in an email to the school community. "Mr. B and I spoke with every class, helping them understand where I will be going and who will be taking my place."
