Northville Moves Ahead With School Technology Upgrades

Board of Education last week approved two crucial steps as part of its technology bond package.

Northville Public Schools is working quickly with technology upgrades, approving two crucial measures to get work started as part of its technology bond package, according to the Northville Record.

The Northville Board of Education last week awarded AMcomm Telecommunications a $196,227 contract to get structured cabling in all classrooms throughout the district, the report indicated, and approved agreements with esven companies for electrical installation, painting and installation of interactive white boards. 

According to the report, work will begin at the high school and middle school shortly, with a targeted summer completion, while work will be done on the elementary buildings this summer.
